Pennine Country Market

Opening Times: - a virtual Market which is not directly open to the public; it provides produce for indirect selling through other retail outlets in South Yorkshire

Pennine does not sell directly to the public.  It is the virtual South Yorkshire Country Market through which Producers can sell their products via other outlets such as farm shops and local stores.  At the present time this is restricted to cakes and preserves.

The new Market was set up because it was the simplest solution to ensure a co-ordinated approach to supplying outlets across South Yorkshire.  It ensures that the shops who we supply see it as a single business rather than dealing with separate Producers and paying into five separate Country Markets.

The current outlets served include farm shops, a grocer, a bakery and a butcher (regrettably not a candlestick maker!) who send in their orders via e-mail to one order point from where our Producers are contacted to supply the goods and arrangements for delivery are made.
