Tickhill opens on another front in Bawtry

4th September 2014

Building on the success of the weekly basket sales around Bawtry, Tickhill have decided to support the new Farmers Market in Bawtry.

The bustling social and shopping destination of Bawtry, near Doncaster is resurrecting its traditional market which took place on a Sunday until the 1980's.  The first Bawtry Farmer's Market took place in June at The Courtyard, which was built in 2000 on land where the market was held.  The markets will be held on the first and third Saturday of each month until October between 9am and 3pm.

The organisers, Bawtry Eye Academy, said that "Hosting a market is a great way to offer our weekend visitors even more choice and support small businesses who may not want to commit to business premises.  It will be lovely to utilise the picturesque setting of The Courtyard and bring back a Bawtry tradition suitably updated for the 21st century."

Tickhill will contribute to the market with their range of fresh and homemade produce and gifts at The Courtyard in Bawtry which is a delightful combination of retail and social setting.
