Penistone Pick & Mix

Until recently our Market hygiene policies have prevented the sale of loose and unwrapped food because of food hygiene and safety considerations.  However, following revisions to those policies with the approval of environmental health advisors Penistone has been the first to implement new ways of selling low risk produce where the customer can decide on what quantities they want to buy as well as see and smell the direct delights of home baking.

Each week the Market offers 4 or 5 different varieties of sweet & savoury scones, cookies, and Artisan bread, with lines gradually increasing.  After the first four weeks of doing it, Pick & Mix is already very popular, proving to be almost a sell out every week.
