On Saturday 29 September, the shops and businesses of Tickhill held an Italian Day with food, wine, pictures at the local art gallery, etc.

Tickhill Country Market held their regular Market the day before and entered into the spirit by holding a preview promotion and display of herbs used in Italian cooking, flavoured olive oils to taste and vegetables used in Italian cookery.  Customers were also treated to a range of Italian food such as lasagnes and polenta cakes, home-made in Tickhill by the range of super cooks who bake and cook fior the Market every week.
